What changed, and when

Customer-visible changes only, newest first. Incidents and maintenance are on the status page.

September 2026

  1. 15 Sep
    New

Invoices arrive on the 1st, with a payment link and QR

Your GST tax invoice is now issued the moment the month closes and emailed as a PDF with a one-click Razorpay link (UPI, card, net banking) and a QR of the same link. Paying through it settles the invoice and sends the receipt automatically. Due on the 15th; reminders on the 8th and 15th.

  2. 15 Sep
    Improved

    Pay and download together

An unpaid invoice on the billing page shows both the Pay button and the invoice PDF. Previously you could only download the PDF after paying.

  3. 11 Sep
    Fixed

Invoice numbers fit the GST portal

New invoices are numbered CNX/YY-YY/000000 — 16 characters, the GST limit. Earlier numbers were two characters longer and were truncated when filed.

  4. 8 Sep
    Fixed

Renewed TLS certificates are served immediately

A renewed certificate on the platform edge was not being reloaded until an unrelated restart. Renewals now reload the edge the moment they land.

August 2026

  1. 27 Aug
    Improved

Instances restart themselves after a host reboot

Every instance starts on boot, and a running instance found stopped is started again within minutes and you are told by email. Nothing is touched if you stopped it yourself.

  2. 24 Aug
    New

    Publish any port

Expose a non-HTTP port (an OCPP charger endpoint, a game server, a database) on a public address from Portal → Network, or via the API. Ports 20000–29999 on the region's shared address map straight to your instance.

  3. 21 Aug
    New

Free HTTPS URL for every instance, in its own region

Each instance gets vm-<id>.<region>.cloudnx.in with a valid certificate, served from the same region as the instance — Mumbai instances no longer round-trip through EU West.

  4. 20 Aug
    New

    Custom domains with automatic TLS

Point your domain at an instance and a certificate is issued on the first request — no CSR, no renewal to remember. Verification happens automatically once your DNS resolves, and you are emailed when it does.

  5. 14 Aug
    New

    India (Mumbai) region

Launch instances in Mumbai. ~25 ms from most Indian cities. Snapshots, volumes, backups, metrics and bandwidth are all per-region.

  6. 14 Aug
    Improved

Offsite backups of instance disks and objects

Instance snapshots and object-storage data are copied to a second provider nightly, in addition to the in-region copy.

  7. 6 Aug
    Improved

    Bank-transfer payments recorded against invoices

Pay an invoice by NEFT and reply with the UTR; it is settled against the invoice and your receipt with the GST PDF follows.

July 2026

  1. 30 Jul
    Improved

    Itemised invoices and usage breakdown

Invoices list every instance by name and plan. Portal → Billing → Usage shows the same breakdown live during the month.

  2. 14 Jul
    New

    Custom domain mapping

Map a domain you own to an instance from the portal.

  3. 14 Jul
    New

    Alerts on your resources

Set rules on CPU, memory, disk and network for any instance and get email or push when they trip. Autoscaling groups notify on every resize.

  4. 14 Jul
    New

    Live metrics

Per-instance CPU, memory, disk and network stream to the portal in real time.

  5. 14 Jul
    Improved

    GSTR-1 export

Registered customers' invoices carry their GSTIN and place of supply so input tax credit flows through.

May 2026

  1. May
    New

IAM users, policies and the cloudnx CLI

Sub-users under one account with managed and custom policies, access keys for programmatic use, and a CLI that covers instances and buckets.

  2. May
    New

    Audit log

Every state-changing action on the account is recorded — who, what, when, from where — and readable in the portal. Built for the DPDP Act.

  3. May
    New

    Public status page

status.cloudnx.in — hosted off our infrastructure on purpose, so it stays up when we do not.
